Life satisfaction and positive youth development in Serbia

Life satisfaction is closely related to emotional, behavioural, social, and environmental youth functioning. Starting from the hypothesis that positive development (PYD) qualities such as aspects of eudaimonic well-being lead higher life (the hedonic aspect well-being), we explored predictions Serbian based on Five Cs a sample 215 Belgrade secondary school students (34.9% male students). The research results show that: were mostly satisfied with their friends, living environment, themselves, families, least school; variables explain highest percentage variance in family, lowest for environment; impacts domain-specific observed connection (self-satisfaction, family school), confidence (satisfaction caring friends), while competence only predicted self-safisfaction. Providing support PYD promotion leads greater different ecology.
